Zip Skip is a skip in [[Horizon Zero Dawn]] that only applies to the [[New Game]] (NG) categories found by Marenelinea 27th of January 2021. It involves dropping down to a handhold to avoid having to use the zipline at the start of the game.<br />

== How To Perform ==<br />
In order to do zip skip, you need to talk to Rost at the start of the Adult section, before dropping down on the left side of the zipline to a handhold below. The drop becomes easier by starting to aim while still standing on the ground and then dropping down. This gives you more precision. Make sure to stop aiming before you reach the platform and to not start aiming while already falling.<br />

As already mentioned, Zip Skip is only used in the [[New Game|NG categories]], this is because in the [[New Game+|NG+ categories]] you can immediately fast travel to the North Embrace Gate using the Golden Fast Travel Pack.
