The extra height gained from doing a Bomb Jump is caused by the exploding bomb below you giving you knockback. It is also possible to gain even more height than normal with a bomb jump by jumping a second time in the air, although this is very inconsistent and seems mostly random. On Ultra Hard difficulty, the explosions from Bomb Jumps pose a serious risk for killing the player. | The extra height gained from doing a Bomb Jump is caused by the exploding bomb below you giving you knockback. How To Perform[edit | edit source]
Bomb Jumps are activated by jumping and releasing a bomb below yourself a split second later. They are considered easier to do without the Hunter's Reflexes skill, but can be done with it. The timing for Bomb Jumps can be tough to get down, but is consistent once you do get it down.
Mechanics[edit | edit source]
The extra height gained from doing a Bomb Jump is caused by the exploding bomb below you giving you knockback. It is also possible to gain even more height than normal with a bomb jump by jumping a second time in the air, although this is very inconsistent and seems mostly random. On Ultra Hard difficulty, the explosions from Bomb Jumps pose a serious risk for killing the player.
Uses[edit | edit source]
Bomb Jumps are used in a couple skips, such as Aussie Route in Maker's End and the Bomb Jump and Double Bomb Jump skips in Smack%. Additionally, the Bomb Jump is a great addition to a player's movement skill, as it can be used to climb things or get out of gaps that you usually would not be able to escape.
