Maker's End Fleur Skip

From Horizon Speedrun Wiki

The Maker's End Fleur Skip was initially discovered on the 26th of October 2020 by Fleur_Bleue101, after which it was expanded on multiple times by the same runner. It originally saved 2 seconds during the Maker's End main quest by using an orange beam running along the side of the tower to climb up slightly faster. Original Maker's End Skip:

The skip was then expanded upon on the 10th of January 2021 by jumping onto the orange beam, followed by jumping straight to the platform on which the holograms take place, this expanded the skip to saving 4 seconds. The 2nd version of the skip:

Then, on the 22nd of February 2021, the skip was expanded upon once more by using stored dialogue to skip some inbetween hologram dialogue. This worked by skipping the trigger for the line "A way up, all it takes is a few good handholds." by using the orange beam. After this, you could skip the longer dialogue between the 2nd and 3rd hologram by dropping back down and walking over the trigger. This will cause the 3rd hologram to spawn much faster. You can then either scan the hologram from below or restart from save to get put on top of the platform (the version shown in the video). The skip now saves around 10-12 seconds.
